Instead, infuse your water with nature’s best to ensure adequate hydration while sipping something tasty. Plus, your water will acquire those much-needed vitamins and nutrients that the body desires. Get ready to crush, shake, and chill your water bottle with these fruit and herb infused recipes.

What You’ll Need
Nowadays there are fruit infused specific pitchers or water bottles. You can certainly use these, but there is no need to spend the extra money. A pitcher of any kind works that either has a spout or pouring capabilities. Fresh fruit and herbs work the best (avoid frozen fruit). You’ll also need a wooden spoon, or a muddler, to smash fruit. Fruit infused water sits well for a maximum of three days before the molding process begins. If you do not prefer chunks of water in your glass, pour the water through a small strainer to catch any of the crushed fruit.

Berry-licious Water
For this infused water you’ll need strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. In the bottom of the jar, place two strawberries, six blueberries and three raspberries. Mash up the fruit at the bottom and place additional sliced strawberries and whole blueberries and raspberries in the pitcher. Fill with ice and water and let the water infuse and sit for several hours before drinking.

Sunkissed Citrus Water

Keep it Cool-cumber Water
For this infused water you’ll need slices of cucumbers and mint. Place several mint leaves into the bottom of a pitcher and muddle with your spoon. Place the cucumber into a pitcher and fill with water. Add ice if desired and garnish with additional mint on top.

Watermelon Rosemary Water
For this recipe you’ll need small chunks of watermelon and a few pieces of fresh rosemary. In the bottom of a pitcher, muddle four pieces of watermelon and two or three sprigs of rosemary. Rosemary is highly potent; so do not overpower the muddle as it infuses well on its own. Place additional chunks or watermelon and rosemary in for decoration, add ice, and fill with water. Stir and let the water infuse for several hours before serving.

Pineapple Mint Water
